  1. Yes they can and probably will, but this isnt a wise decision because in-breeding can cause many problems with the kittens and they could become very sick, its kind of like in humans i guess, so you shoudnt really especially since they are brother and sister. on the other hand they COULD still come out healthy, but i woudnt risk it.

  2. yes its possible, the cats are then called inbred cats...which means they could have more problems then other cats.....its not terrible if it happens, but you really want to try and prevent it.

  3. cats have no concept of incest.  so yes, any intact male will mate with any intact female.  Brother, sister, uncle, son, mother, etc.

My cat Ollie is a product of his mother and his brother, so he is his own uncle..

and you do NOT want to add to the over population of pets in this or any other country.  There are THOUSANDS of cats being put to sleep *every single day* simply because there are not enough homes.

If you want the joy of having kittens in the house, contact a local shelter and see if they have a fostering program.  You'll have more kittens on your hands than you know what to do with!!

  4. Yes, they can and will have kittens unless you get them fixed.

  5. Well, I'm not possitive, BUt I don't think they realize that they are brother and sister.  My mom has 3 dogs, and one (Zennon) is the father of the other 2 and Zennon is always trying to hump his sons.  But thats dogs.  So you might get what you want!  But I think thats kinda gross.

  6. Yes, they can. Each year over 3 million unwanted pets are put to sleep. Please do not contribute to this. Please have them fixed. Thank you. It has been shown that it is actually healthier for cats to NOT have kittens. You will be extending your cats life by up to 3 years by having her spay.

  7. Yeah, it's very possible, especially since they don't have any more control than other animals.  However, genetic inbreeding can wreak the same level of havoc in cats as it does in humans, so please consider that.
