Question about clip-in extensions?

Can you use a curling iron on them? Juuust wondering...

Oh, by the way, I'm talking about the little clip-ins. That are only like 2 inches wide.

  1. If they're real hair, then yes.


  2. if theyre synthetic then no..they will fry up and look ugly..haha


  3. it depends on if they are human hair or synthetic clip in extensions.

    If they are human hair then yes you can flat iron or curling iron them but if they are synthetic then no they will melt as soon as a heat touches them.(learned the hard way lol)

    A quick easy way to test is just take one teeny tiny strand and touch a curling iron to it and see if it melts up if so DONT do it to more of the hair
