Question:

Question about clonazepam dependence...

I take clonazepam almost every night to help sleep... usually 1mg or 1.5mg... been doing this consistently for about a month... and I have about 20 pills left and 3 refills. If I keep doing this till all those run out could I become addicted? I don't take them during the day, only at night usually.

  1. not exactly...but dont take any chances.....it can surely become dependable.i would suggest you to withdraw.

i am also doing the same thing for quite sometime.doctor prescribed me for my backache, due to which i was unable sleep.

but he told to stop after sometime, eventually i did not do that.

i also want to withdraw from using it shortly.

by the way....are u also suffering form back ache?

    best regards,

    mani

  2. I definitely think that you might develop some sort of dependence. If you can sleep without using them, then you should at least try.

  3. Out of the benzos it has the least addiction possibility because it has the longest half-life but I still think you will develop a dependency on it very easily after that time. You should try some alternative that isn't so likely to cause dependency.
