Question about college.

Question

I am a meteorology major about to graduate but I also like maps as well. After I graduate I am thinking about completing a certificate program in Geographical Information Systems as part of a resume building exercise. Is it possible to get a job in areas like geography, cartography or GIS with the Bachelor's in Meteorology and this certificate. I like Meteorology I'm just trying to keep this other avenue open as well. Any comments appreciated.
