  1. no its good for your hair

  2. I'm assuming that since you are using conditioner for damaged hair, you are using something like a deep conditioner.  There seems to be no explicit danger from leaving in conditioner that long although there seems to be no benefit from leaving in conditioner longer than 5 minutes.  Some points to consider:

    * It "may" accelerate the loss of color treatment if you color your hair.  Make sure you are using a conditioner that is "color safe" in this case.

    * You should be applying conditioner from the tips of your hair to about 1 inch from your scalp.

    * Make sure you completely wash out the conditioner.  Leaving residue can make hair look dull due to build up.

    * Obviously, make sure you are using a separate conditioner, not one of those shampoo/conditioner all-in-ones.

    * Make sure you are using the right conditioner.  For damaged hair, you should be using something like a deep conditioner.

    Hope this helps,

  3. Don't leave regular conditioner in for that long. Just apply it to your head, and then rinse it out with cold water. If your going to leave conditioner in, get a leave in conditioner that is meant to be left in for a long period of time. Try to use shampoo that is meant to reconstruct the hair's cuticles.

    Try Dove, or Organix shampoos.

  4. It is not bad....I have done it! Also i think that a leave in conditioner works better!!! Try that...its what it is meant for!

  5. dont listen to that one girl her conditioner was probably really bad and had like acid in it or something

    anyways

yes conditioner(if you get a good brand) is good for your hair and helps the shine and condition of it and helps you untangle your hair after a shower

and if your having breakage in your hair do you dye it? maybe your hair just needs and hair dye friendly shampoo and conditioner look on the bottle for " damaged" or "for color treated hair"

if you dont die your hair perhaps you just need a clarifying shampoo but only use a clarifying shampoo once a week or it will dry your hair out just once a week because it will get the wierd minerals and impurites out of your hair so look for "Clarifying" or "purifying" on the bottle and another tip is to get a good leave in conditioner for your hair and only apply as much as it says on the directions because it could causer your hair to be greasy. I tried the Garnier fructis leave in conditioner and i do NOT reccomend it no matter how much i used i got a greased up mess of hair so just try different things until you find something that works for you=)

    hope i helped =))))

  6. absolutely great!! leaving conditioner in ur hair is actually very healthy

  7. no, conditioner is really good for your hair =]

  8. You should only leave in conditioner for 15-20 max. Otherwise it defeats the purpose. My hair used to be really damaged as well, now its REALLY healthy and I have not one split end.  What I did was put conditioner, then shampoo, then conditioner again on only the ends of my hair and left it in for like 10  minutes then washed it out then towel dried my hair and put in leave-in conditioner, also don't use mousse and hair spray when not necessary, What I found really works if you have thicker or frizzy hair and use hair spray a lot and that is TRESemme ultra light No Frizz Shine Spray, you can find it a WalMart for $3-$4 It makes your hair not frizzy, it doesn't damage your hair like other products, and it makes it shinny and very soft =] Hope that helps =]

  9. no, sorry but conditioner is protien and to much with make it split up the shaft thats why its breaking off

  10. nooo! dont do it! conditionar is meant to untangle hair, not to fix it! in the past i use to use a lot of it and thanks to that, my hair started falling out, dont leave it that long it damages the root, and dont apply it on teh scalp or top of the head  just on the bottom, like from the bottom of your ear lobes and down!!!!! dont leave it that long though!
