Question about conjunctivitis???

I have conjunctivitis and have been using eye drops for it, prescribed by a doctor.

It took about 2 and a half weeks for it to just about clear up..then it become red again, and came back.

I gotta say i did use my makeup when it just about cleared up..

could that be the reason it came back?

and should i go to the doctor to tell him it came back..or should i continue to use the eye drops (which don't seem to be working)?

Whenever I have had Pink eye, I always threw all of my make up away.  My Dr. said I could recontaminate myself with the virus and I would have to start the drops all over again.

Go back to your doctor, as soon as possible - they should give you some different drops. I'd take the advice that the other poster gave you, too. It is adviseable to chuck your make-up out, as you will just be re-infecting your eyes and only put on your new mascara etc when the infection is 100% undoubtedly cleared.
