Question about contact lens brands?

i have been wearing proclear toric lens for about 2 months, and they are supposed to be monthly lenses but i have been threw 3 of them in the passed 1and a half months. so thats about 1 every 2 weeks. now thats bad for lenses that are supposed to last a month now i was just wondering if any one else have had this problem with these lens. because i think that they suck and that they are gettin me 4 my money. should i switch brands or what. do any of u have this problem with proclear toric lens?

plenty of people have that problem.  thats the #1 complaint of that material (omafilcon).  its very fragile

it is fine. proclear is consider to be one of the top graded lenses. So it shdn't be a problem. Lenses wore for 2 weeks will be more comfortable as compared to monthly. No problem at all.

I see that a lot in my office. Most patients seem to be able to wear them for  only 2-3 weeks. I wear proclear toric and I usually change them every 3 weeks. I don't mind it. If you are unhappy, talk with your doctor. He/She will be able to suggest a lens made out of a deferent material that might wear better with your eyes. There were a lot of new toric lenses that just hit the market. Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism and AirOptix Toric are having success in my office. Good luck.
