Question about crossing from Laredo to the bus station in Nuevo Laredo by taxi...?

I want to catch a bus from Laredo to Mexico City, but have difficulty walking...esp. with 2 heavy suitcases. Took bus from Mexico to Mc Allan and we had to get off bus and walk to and through customs bldg. then out to the lot to re-board the bus...was not the pedestrian bridge , but was a significant distance for a person with a cane, difficulty walking , and heavy bags. If I take a taxi from Laredo to the bus station in Nuevo laredo, will I have to do the same?

I've never done it, but I feel pretty sure that the taxi driver will handle the luggage for you (for a fee of course).

Hi Charlie!  It's been a long time!!!  I haven't been on here much for awhile due to a heavy workload, but I just happened to see your question.  Unfortunately, I don't really know the answer to your question, but I can make a suggestion.  Why don't you get one of those little rolling luggage carriers?  They are lightweight and can collapse/fold-up and they make it very easy to just roll your luggage instead of having to carry it.
