What is the difference between thick tip and thin tip?

  1. With a Thick tip you can get better contact with the cue ball with less chance of "Mis-Cueing" or "fouling on your shot. With a Thin tip there is more chance of hitting the "ferrule" on the cue causing a Mis-cue. also it is really hard to get any "English" off the Cue Ball with a thin tip........Again Mis-Cueing.................


  2. The tip is what ever you want it to be. The standard is uasualy 12.

    OK if you still want to know thick -they are pretty much standard sizes if very thin replace it

    Dia  diffrent dia is personal choice for the game you are playing for pool a 13mm with a nickle crown is the most popular because it fits the dia of the cue ball @ 2 1/4 in
