  1. Death

Definition: The ceasing of all functions of life. After breathing, heartbeat, and brain activity stop, the life-force gradually ceases to function in body cells. Death is the opposite of life

What is the condition of the dead?

Eccl. 9:5: “The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.”

Ps. 146:4: “His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts [“thoughts,” KJ, 145:4 in Dy; “all his thinking,” NE; “plans,” RS, NAB] do perish.”

John 11:11-14: “‘Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.’ . . . Jesus said to them outspokenly: ‘Lazarus has died.’” (Also Psalm 13:3)

Is there some part of man that lives on when the body dies?

Ezek. 18:4: “The soul [“soul,” RS, NE, KJ, Dy, Kx; “man,” JB; “person,” TEV] that is sinning—it itself will die.”

Isa. 53:12: “He poured out his soul [“soul,” RS, KJ, Dy; “life,” TEV; “himself,” JB, Kx, NAB] to the very death.” (Compare Matthew 26:38.)

Are the dead in any way able to help or to harm the living?

Eccl. 9:6: “Their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.”

Isa. 26:14: “They are dead; they will not live. Impotent in death, they will not rise up.”

This what the bible says ..so YOUR question is one of the best  to ask!

    I hope this helps.

  2. I remember 15 well - no matter how old I get.

Life and death are perfectly natural. We'll all find about the afterlife when we get there. I know one SF author who plays with the notion that the afterlife is a deeply personal/individual thing based on each person's beliefs & myths.

I really suggest looking at the many different afterlife myths & fictions. You might have some fun exploring them.

  3. 16 years ago, the world was spinning along just fine. I was here. Not to sound harsh, but it does not revolve around you or anyone else. Don't worry, most kids go through that phase, though. You will eventually get past it and be a sadder person for the rest of your life. As you grow older, death will not seem so scary. It will even be eagerly awaited if you live long enough. After you die, the sun will still rise and set, and your family sill stand around and talk about you, eat a little potato salad, and put you in the ground.

  4. Death is the beginning of eternal life.

  5. Chek this site out, they have a death section:

  6. You must be a Westerner

You can't go up to your Friends and say You ever thought of You know Death More than likely they would run away from you They even have a word for it morbid

You are kept in ignorance largely by these robbing sods who use this to s***w our nearest and dearest for every last cent The Long Frock Brigade figure highly on the list Closely  followed by undertakers and Florists

If People only understood the death process these robbers would go out of business within months

Look death isn't something we haven't done countless times already We want to live in this third dimension for the time being We need this physical body to operate in but the dam thing gets sick wears out packs in and we need a new one Sometimes for our leaning we need a physical body in different  Realms

To those who say we only have one chance with the life If that was true we would all start at the same starting block and finish at the same finishing tape with all the same chances opportunities  and handicaps

It is natural to feel as you do but when you figure it out You'll then see It is all an Illusion and can laugh at the whole thing

Come on you are a young Guy and it was make round to go round Get out there and enjoy Yourself and don't worry about it Okay

  7. A friend of mine wondered this as well, and asked God to show her somehow what the moment of death is like. He answered in a dream:

In her dream, she was holding hands with her sister fearing for there life because they had gotten captured, all of a sudden, they felt like they were flying, and floated away gently. They were not scared at all.

    then she woke up.

I really don't believe you realize the moment when you actually die, because just your physical body dies, not your soul.

Of course you don't lie there doing nothing for eternity doing nothing, or else what is the point of life.

The purpose in life is to determine your afterlife, and whether you believe in a heaven or h**l or not, it believes in you.

  8. First of all, you don't sound like a r****d because of anything you think, you sound like a r****d because you can barely use the English language.

    Seriously, learn to spell.

Aside from that, you are hitting on a couple of concepts, one being solipsism, and the other the inherent egotistical nature of consciousness.  Upon death you will cease to exist, but everything else will not - that's the easiest way to put it.

In the meantime, though, work on your d**n English skills...

  9. no it wasnt...its for everyone... many have died and the world keeps going....Its just like sleeping and then resurrection to judgment....unless youre born again then theres IMMORTality!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. Yes, I even felt a weak urge to kill myself just to know what's on the other side.

And that's when I stopped fearing death and decided to experience life while it lasts.

Death isn't going anywhere... eventually, I will know one way or another.

  11. "Death isn't going anywhere... eventually, I will know one way or another."

Strictly speaking, not true. You might eventually know if there is life after death, but you won't be around to know anything if there isn't!

  12. my brother said that today. i think a lot of people think this. but if you did not exist then how would you precieve anything? being dead could be the same thing as before you were born. just nothing...
