Question about del-sol nailpolish...?

well you know how del-sol nail polish changes color in the sunlight... well will it change still if i put a coat of clear over it?

i hve a question also and i dont know how to post my own so sry... my brother wants me to paint the del sol nail polish on one of his golf balls... will it still work or do u have to put in on a finger/toe nail?
