Question about deviantART, what is a print?

i am new to deviantART and i recently uploaded a piece, now it says someone has requested a print...i have no idea what that means! someone explain this to me please. thanks

A print is your image on paper.

What's the link to this artwork by you? If someone wants a print for it, it must be good!

A print is technically the print-out version of your work, in other words she/he wants a copy of your work in hardcopy form. In this case, you may want to set a price for your print-outs, since they are your work to begin with. NEVER give out prints for free, unless you want to devalue your worth as an artist.

a print means like a hard copy version of your art. like you know how you buy posters from like kmart of the simpsons and you can get a case and put them on your wall. well a print is like that. a large professionally printed copy. good luck with deviantart. i love that site.
