  2. The best path to follow would be the path that is the most logical.  The most logical path is the path of Atheism.  Be a free thinker, and be free of the dogma of the mythical religions.  Be an Atheist.  It's the only logical choice.

  3. Best to experience each, if you can.  I can say as a Catholic the main difference between us and Prots is we beleive the bread and wine at Communion are literally transsubstantiated (made into Jesus' body and blood) though we still taste bread and wine.  The Prots believe it is merely a symbolic act (though some Lutherans say it is up to the individual to believe either way).  Catholics are not fundamentalists, either; we believe the Bible is inspired writing, not literal history. we believe Jesus was fully G-d and fully Human, and that his Death and Resurrection re-opened Heaven for all who believe. Anglicans and Lutherans are separated from Catholics but mostly it's a leadership question: they do not follow our Pope.

  4. Attend the church that is closest to the teachings of God's word, the Holy Bible.

  5. Go to each one then decide which one you feel more comfortable in.

  6. That really depends on the actual church you go to.  Beyond the regular denominations, there are other divisions such as the difference between Lutherans and Evengelical Lutherans.  You just have to go to the churches and observe to find what you like best.

Pomp and ceremony at the Episcopal church?  I was raised Episcopalian- we had service in a tiny 200 year old building and it closely resembled the Lutheran and UCC churches.

  7. As a Christian you belong with God's people.  These would be those who are Christians and are doing things God's way.  Study your Bible and see what God has to say about becoming a Christian, remaining faithful to Him, and worship to him.

Then ask and visit around until you find the group that is following God's plan.  If you are asking what God wants from a church-- that is a different question.

  8. If you want to "feel good" go to a Pentecostal church.

If you want legalism go to a Baptist church.

If you want to be surrounded by main stream protestants go to a Methodist or Congregational church.

If you want pomp and ceremony go to an Episcopal church.

    (sit, stand, kneel and incense)

  9. If your really interested in finding a good church in your area, message me and I will try to help. As you can tell, allot of people here simply want to mock and make fun of honest people like yourself asking questions.

  10. Just attend and decide.

If you go to a service and feel comfortable, it fits you.

No one can tell you which is right, you have to understand that for your self.

  11. Hi There, Did Jesus say there were many roads? or did he say there is only one? You will find the answer in the Bible at Matthew 7:13,14; it says there; Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14; Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.......and besides do you believe that all these churches are doing god's will??....any religion that believes it's ok to go to war and kill others maybe someone who may be of the same religion as they are, cannot not be doing God's will....False religion is referred to in Revelation as BABYLON THE GREAT,MOTHER OF HARLOTS, AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. chapter 17 and chapter 18 verse 4 says; Get out of her my people, if you do not want to share in her sins, because her sins have massed clear up to heaven.....and God has called her injustice to mind!...read Isaiah 2: 2-4 it says; And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and  shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3; And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD (Jehovah), to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word from Jerusalem. 4; And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.......so the question now is how many religions fit this criteria? How many religions teach who is the true God? Jesus said at John 17:3; And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent..............now the question again is......would Jesus say this if he himself were God??no! He was talking about his Father and our Father Jehovah..........Why do you think Jehovah's Witnesses keep calling back time and time again on people???
