Question about disneyland tickets. Help? (:?

Can you get in to both the disneyland park and disney california adventures with the same ticket? I've only been there once and i want to know.

There are different types of tickets.  The 1-day, 1-park ticket is the cheapest, and only allows you entry into 1 theme park (Disneyland or California Adventure).

They sell "park hopper" tickets that allow you entry into both -- they cost a bit more, but they are cheaper than buying two 1-day/1-park tickets.

It depends on the type of ticket you purchase.

There is a 1 Day 1 Park ticket that allows you to enter either Disneyland OR California Adventure, but not both on one day.

Then there is what is known as the "Park Hopper". This allows you into Disneyland AND California Adventure for as many days as you have purchased.   When you use a Park Hopper you get a Hand Stamp when you exit one park and show your handstamp and Park Hopper ticket to enter the other one.
