Question about dmv fees for putting a vehicle in your name?

I read on the ca dmv website you have 30 days to pay the fees. But won't they ask for the money when I go do that paperwork?? Or can I bring it in/send it and a later time?\

I don't know about your state but I'm sure they are trivial at most, just a few dollars, so don't sweat it, the DMV isn't as evil as most people would like you to think, just go in with a check book or some cash and take care of it when you go in there
