  1. OK, lets assume you haven't done ANYTHING to the server yet. Set a Static IP on that server, like 192.168.1.2, make that a DNS Serverr by installing the service and give your DNS Server a name (eg. judenihal.com). Also, go into Computer Name in the system properties and name your server server1.judenihal.com or something. Then, type in DCPROMO and complete the Active Directory Wizard. Make sure the domain you typed in is the same as the DNS name you specified. Then Restart the server. After that, you go into Active Directory Users and Computers and then in users, you can create users and stuff. Right Click, point to new and then click user, you can create any type of user you want, like (Full Name: E-wraac, but user login name is Iraq) or another funny user, (Full Name: Kay Tee Pren Tiss but Login Name: KatiePrentice). Oh, make sure you go to the domain security policy in the administrative tools and remove the password complexity if you don't want it enabled (I Find the Password complexity thing a little annoying).

Router or DHCP Configuration: Make Sure you set the ip address to the same subnet (i.e. 192.168.1.x) the DNS pointing to 192.168.1.2 otherwise logging in on your workstations WILL TAKE FOREVER!!!

Workstation side: Once it obtains an IP address from the DHCP router and its already obtained the DNS IP which is the Server's IP, right click My Computer, click properties, click on Computer Name tab and then change button. Type your Domain Name and then thats computer is joined!
