I've heard from several sources that in SOME parts of Germany, in pubs and bars and such, if you are tall enough to see over the bar, no matter your age, then your allowed to drink and buy alcohol. Is this true? Not trying to sound foolish but you never know...

  1. Not true.Legal drinking age is 16 for beer and wine, 18 for hard liquor.

  2. you also have to have an afro.

  3. From what I've seen, alcohol is tolerated. Children are given the opportunity to have alcohol with their meal at an early age, but most children decline and prefer to drink pop. And of course the legal drinking age is low. So i wouldn't be surprise if it is true. So i doubt they will card you if you are just a young teenager asking for some beer.
