Question about drug test results?

I took a drug test for work today and I told the nurse that I do take a prescription drug that will show a positive result for amphetamine's and she said that the doctor will be able to tell the difference between illegal drugs and prescription drugs and will call me to get my doctors info to verify my script. Is this true? And if so, how? Also, will they tell my employer that it showed up or will they just send back a negative result?

Well yeah like I was on addheral and other c**p diagnosed illnesses ask for a tame and lame dose so what your smoking snorting or swallowing or even injecting is a lot stronger than that

Enantiomerically pure amphetamine may or may not be racemized in vivo.  METHamphetamine will probably show.

Bottom line: Scrip will show as scrip--nothing to worry about.  Street may or may not show as illegal.

if you have a valid script, chances are, they will report negative, or a positive with a valid explanation.

In Canada, I'm not sure about the laws in the states, employers can't discriminate against medical conditions, so if you have a valid prescription for the medication, then there isn't much the employer can do, even if it came back positive
