Ok here is the story.

About 3 months ago I started to smoke marijuana with some people who are kind of my friends. Well now they are my friends and some of them still smoke.

Well now marijuana has a pandoras box effect on me. I really like it but i wish i wasnt "dependant" on it. Im starting to use it more and more and less happy when im not using it.

What should i do?

I know its not possible to be addicted but is there a way I am?

  1. No it is not possible to be addicted. It is like everything else in the world it is in your mind. Stay away from it and you will be fine. Just shut it out. You will get used to it. Don't tell me you cant because I did! Just don't think about it is all. Play sports or skateboard or play instrument or something

  2. How is it not possible to become addicted?

You can become addicted to anything that you constantly crave.

Food, videogame playing, working out.  Stop now.  The more you keep doing it the harder it will be to stop.

  3. You can become addicted to absolutely anything - chocolate, coffee, gambling, cigarettes are just a few examples.

If it's becoming a problem and something you want more and more, step away from it.  Anyone who starts toking a lot so quickly and wants more and more isn't primed to be a casual user.  Follow your instincts.  They are telling you to let it go.

  4. no its not addicting, and you dont have to stop, just smoke a few times a week instead of every day, like maybe stop buying alot of it yourself and starting smoking OP,,,,,(other peoples :-)

  5. first off, weed isnt addictive so you can relax about that

umm it is hard to stop but i recently did it about 2 months ago, i know its not good to trade habits but i started smoking cigs to stop smoking weed

easiest thing to stop, stop buying, eventually ween your way off of it
