Question about duck feather mattress toppers?

may be its a weird question, but i'm gonna just ask it anyways

i just bought duck feather mattress topper without thinking

so my questions is

since its a duck feather, is it healthy and hygenic?

how long can i use it for?

I'm really curious to see the filling, anyone ever opened one?

Any process of sterilize before they make it as it is?

i layered it with thick camping sleeping bag and my sheet

would that be enough ?

yes that would be enough but it depend on how r u using it. A little bit sharp thing could cut the sheet and the mattress
