Question about eating nuts for health?

I know all kinds of nuts are good for you but would Pistachios nuts be good as well? My friend say their not good for you because they get mold on them when the shell is half opened.

  1. Following is a chart of the fat content in nuts.  Some are better than others, I snack on whole natural almonds:

    Don't know about the mold issue but it seems to me if they weren't fresh, I wouldn't eat them.


  2. All nuts are good for you but pistachio isn't nessicarily one of the best ones. There are many more that are much better in nutrients, peticularly almonds. But don't eat to many of any kind of nut because they are healthy when its a small portion like 1oz, but they can be fattening if you eat more than that a day.  

  3. All nuts are good but you shouldn't have a lot of nuts.

  4. Yes. All nuts are healthy, but they contain a lot of fat. You must consider that when adding them to your diet.
