Question about ebay bad feedback, can the person who left get ebay to remove it?

can a buyer request that the negative feedback he left be removed, the buyer rushed into giving me bad feedback because he thought i hadn't sent him his package so he left the comment and now he says the package turned up, it was with a neighbour!

This has changed, but as I'm aware the negative (if they left a negative or neutral score) can but the comments stay.

There definitely is a setting on the Buyer's side where he can change the feedback to positive.

If they don't want to do it you can click on your Ebay Feedback and scroll to the bottom of the page where it says, "Reply to Feedback Received" and explain what happened. At least when people read your feedbacks they'll know what really happened.
