Well the input jack separated from the wire inside my guitar. I wanted to know if it would be possible to just super glue it together since the wire that came off was just touching the metal of the inside part input jack.No the wire didn't break it just came off and don't say solder it because I really can't at the moment. Just please tell me if it will work or not it's just a temporary fix.

  1. Super glue is probably a bad idea because, since super glue is a liquid, and it doesn't solidify for a while, the wire might move a little and lose the contact with the input jack. If you really can't solder it (which is probably the best idea), i would use some good electrical tape to re-connect them. Another idea is (if you have little experience) take ypur guitar to a guitar repair shop, of a guitar tech, explain the problem, and they'll fix it.

  2. umm.. i'm honestly not sure.. i've never had that happen.. sorry..

but i recommend calling a guitar shop near you and asking them.. they're used to fixing those types of things so they'd probably know..

  3. No

I soldered mine back on, I think it's the only safe thing...  Years later, it's fine.

Take it to a guitar store or get someone you know to solder it.
