  1. In my area no license is required, no insurance. I need to use a helmet. 16 yrs and up. the bike  must meet certain specs

  2. I had my first electric scooter when i was eight, honestly they are a waste of money i think, if i were you i would invest in a dirt-bike or perhaps a quad (Dangerous). But you will get better value for your money. Electric scooter tend to only last for a while.

  3. you will have to check your local laws

some places have banned them for all drivers under 15.

other will allow you to drive them but not on sidewalks etc.

  4. That depends where you live.

In California, this type of scooter is classified as a "motorized scooter" and not a "moped".

"An operator of a motorized scooter must be at least 16 years old, possess a valid drivers license or instruction permit, and wear a helmet."

Check your local laws at your state's DMV website.

Electric scooters are better than gas ones, by the way.
