Question about enchanted forest....?

people say theres a mental hospital in the hills, is that true? we went hiking in the forest and couldnt find it. is there really one?

The Haunted Forest

Go to the 210 freeway in Pasadena. Turn north on Lake Ave, then go to the top of Lake. The road turns 90 degrees to the left, but the trail goes to the right. It's really just Angeles National Forest, with hiking trails. It's not a FOREST. There aren’t forests in this chaparral ecosystem. It's a trail into the mountain. The “asylum” is at the top, but it’s a 5.7 mile hike round trip. It was once the Echo Mountain resort, but you know how urban legends go…

There used to be an old hospital, La Vina Sanitorium, at the corner of Old Toll Road and Millard Canyon Road. However, that was developed years ago, and is now a residential area with no sign at all of the sanitorium.
