Question about end of 'meet joe black' ?

How does Susan Parrish know that the young gentleman from the coffee shop is "back" at the end of the movie after death/joe black takes her father away? I thought she had no clue about the whole death thing being in his body. Yet she seems to be aware of it and says "i wish you could have met my father" How does she know he is dead? what happened to william parish ? Did he just die after the death angel took him for a walk

Her father died and she doesn't recognize Brad Pitt at the end because Death is no longer in his body.  They don't know each other at the end that's why she says, I wish you could have met my father, because he never had.

Remember at the party, where they are dancing, and she says she feels like she is floating. That is when he lets her know who he really is, how she figures out what was happening.

Her father just died so he went where everyone that dies goes to , depending on your belief system.
