Question about endometriosis?

I have heard that some of the symptoms of endo include: shorter cycles, longer and heavier than normal periods and pain during s*x. I was just wondering if you ladies can help me clear this up a little. I have normal 27-31 day cycles, my periods last about 5-6 days. TMI ALERT>>> The first day I soak through a regular tampon in about 4 hours the second day is about the same. The third and fourth days I can go about 6 hours or so with the same regular and the 5 and occasional 6th days I usually just have to use a liner. The reason for my biggest concern is the whole pain during s*x issue. Another TMI alert, my husband is average size, not to small or too large either but when we have s*x "doggie style" ew I hate that phrase... it can be painful if he drives too hard. All other positions we use rarely if ever hurt. I tend to think my cervix is pretty low, so my question is could this be a bad sign for me or could this just be because his hitting my cervix is uncomfortable from the deepness of this positions penetration? The reason I ask is we have been ttc for 5 months with no luck and I am wondering because I know this can be a very distructive condition if it is not taken care of early. The only way to accurately diagnose endometriosis is through laparascopic surgery. If you do have endo, you will have extremely bad, possibly debilitating cramps during your period. I had severe endometriosis and my periods have always been regular, light, and never longer than 3 days. After having the lap done, its still regular, light, 3 days, but Idon'tt even need advil or tylenol. As for the pain during s*x, everyone is build differently and some people do have lower cervix's. Also, does it hurt at any given time during your cycle, or just certain times of your cycle? Your cervix changes position as well as texture/firmness at different points during your cycle. And "doggy" allows for deeper penetration, and its common for him to hit your cervix at this angle.

im thinking along the same lines as u, i have long cycles however, 40days and unbelieveable period pains (i have asked a question about this) and they are heavy. i also get apin during s*x jus as hes entering, like a stabbing pain around the left or sight sides of my belly.

i have ttc for 9 months now and i am also worried.
