  1. it depends in which country you were registered. If your parents regitered you in africa then yes, if not and you were registered in America which is more than likely you are american. =]

  2. African is a geographic designation.

Ethnicity is determined by kinship, linguistics, and sometimes genetics.

Race is the sociological designation for physical differences due to genetics.

    For example:

Charlize Theron is "African" because she was born in South Africa.

    Her ethnicity is Anglo-Saxon.

    Her race is Caucasian/Caucasoid.

  3. are you seriouce? thats soo cool yes you are plain and simple you are african you were born there your ancestors may not come from there but ur african german and italian wow cool and now you just reside in america

  4. Yes, depending on if you came back to America it would make you a legal African-American by nationality, not by ethnicity. Actress Charlize Theron is legally African American by nationality since she was born in South Africa and her first language is Afrikaans.

  5. If you didn't absorb the culture of whichever African country you were born in, then you're probably an American. Are your parents from Germany and Italy? Do you speak either of those languages like a native speaker? Which language is your native language?

  6. No, ethnicity is what your origin is, NOT where you are born, you are NOT african by any means, especially if you did not grow up there or anything

  7. I don't think it means that your african, but you could have citizenship there. For example I know someone who was born in Ireland but grew up in US and has duel citizenship. His parents were from US. It all depends on weather or not the country or territory you were born in recognizes your birth.
