Question about face book please?

Question

If a friend sent you a message along with a zillion other friends and then the zillion others started a loooooooong thread and turned the original message into a chat room till we all drove each other nuts, does that qualify as spam or is it just a friendly exchange between friends?!

And how do you get out of a thing like this so you don't get any more messages about it?!

Special dedication to Aloussa and all the guys on Face book going nuts from that never ending thread! :D
