  1. A wet/dry filter means it can be used wet or dry, I guess.  Not exactly sure about that one.  More of a marine tank thing, I think.

Pre drilled means that the tank already has the holes in it for attachments for filters, sump pumps, etc.

You can use a tank that's been used for saltwater for freshwater fish.  You just need to rinse it out first.  It's actually pretty good because most freshwater diseases can't handle salt.

Lids and lights can be pretty expensive depending on what you want and if you want custom stuff or actinic lights.  You can always go cheaper.  Go DIY and get a piece of plexiglass for a lid and some strip lights of the correct wattage from Home Depot and you don't have to spend nearly that much.

  2. A wd filter is a filter wehre water is pumped from the aquarium, then by  drip/trickled onto a  plate or rotating spray arm the water is dispensed or "trickled" down over and through a biological material source contained in the  filter ,  the water is pre-filtered by means of mechanical filtration,  When the water falls through the holes of the drip/trickle plate onto the bio-media, this allows for oxygen saturation of the water.

Predrilled means the over flow or the internal filter holes are predrilled in the aquarium

All tanks can be fresh or salt.  There are certain ones (larger ones) that are predrilled which really aren't used for fresh but can be.

Lights don't cost that much unless you are housing specific inverts like corals.

Regular tank lights are fine for most fish.  Getting fancy with the cridders you intend to keep is what will start to cost. Alsways research your animals and their needs prior to buying.

Just pay attention to the depth and with vs. length.  Som elarger fish need more room to swim (turn) than they need to break out in bursts of speed across the tank.

    Sounds like a nice tank.
