Question about flying Internationally?

Could I make a cheap vacation out of Stop overs? Maybe take a trip that would leave the US and make stop overs in 2 or 3 countries (but make it a connecting flight situation) but where the stop overs were for a few hours so I could go out and just walk around and take pictures and enjoy a good lunch/dinner. and it wrap up back at home in the US.. Do you think a travel agent could make such a thing happen. I think it would be cool for 3-4 days vacation for 1 person to see the world. Just book a round trip ticket that makes stop overs in multiple countries for 3-5 hrs each stop over. Id sleep on the plane trips and eat where ever i land and sight see , not sure what to do with the suveniers hoping on/off a plane. and just the basic close change in a single gymbag I would keep with me. Maybe i could just buy new close when I need a change and throw the others away (i am saving on not needing a hotel). That way im traveling extreamly light, no lugage just a gym bag.

Any ideas???

  1. For international flights, I'd say you'd need a stopover for longer than 3 hours to fully enjoy your trip - you'll have to check back in and get back through security, and all.

But in theory, sure...you could definitely do that. The jet lag would be a b****, but there's nothing stopping you.

Talk to your nearest travel agent about suggestions and prices.

    Happy trails!
