I have a 1993 Mini currently being rebuilt and we have been advised to change the front subframe mountings from the original rubber ones to a solid mounting kit. There are a few different types for example alloy, nylon or poly ones. Which ones do you recommend and why? Thanks

  1. Nylon as it is very wear resistant and silent ~~

  2. Alloy is more durable. Fit alloy.

  3. id go for poly unless your going to rally the car .you need a wee bit give for bumpy road use

  4. I'd say that they will all have there plus point, if price is no object then but the most expensive, if cost is an issue buy the cheapest, if you want value for money buy the mid cost. :-)
