How do you fully remove AVG files?

A friend is trying to install Kaspersky but it will not install because of the AVG files.

  1. Re-install AVG, then download revo-uninstaller and have it uninstall AVG.  That's the only method I can think of.  I've been meaning to do this to my mom's laptop, but I've been too lazy, so I can't say truthfully if this works, but that's how I'd do it.


  2. Goto  control panel -> add/remove program -> uninstall the avg antivirus from the computer.
