Question about getting another Parakeet?

Question

I have a male Parakeet and was just wondering, if I got another one should it be a boy or a girl? Which one would get along better, why?

It doesnt matter but if you want to breed them, get a female. But please monitor them when you first get her...and make sure you get the new keet checked by a vet just in case...you dont want your present keet to get ill from bringing home a sick bird. Dont expect your new bird to act the same as your present keet...I have four and they all have their days...

it dose not really matter parakeets are not that aggressive i have had 2 boys together and they were best friends. i have also had a boy and girl together and they were fine as well
