Question about getting braces off?

my last orthodontist visit he said that if the teeth were the way he wants them, he is going to make molds. well my teeth are very straight now. and my next visit is in 3 weeks.

so does that mean he is going to take them off when he makes the molds?

also how long does it take to get them taken off
