I need to get spurs this weekend. Should I bring my boots with me when I buy them? Or are all spurs the same size?

  1. Just to be safe you should bring your boots with because spurs aren't no all the same size. hope this helps!

  2. Bring your boots, because you will need to fit both the spur and the strap to the boot. No, spurs are NOT all the same size.

  3. Yes you should bring your boots because it should go around your boots and fit confortably. There are different sizes to choose from and you want to make sure that they fit really well and won't fall down.

Also you should decide what you are using them for...such as for training ... use a blunt one so it won't hurt the horse.

For Gaming...use a normal spurs that are pointy and sharp.

They're so many different types of show spurs, training and everyday riding spurs so make sure you find out before you buy one.....what you want to use it for.

Remember ... different horses react differently to spurs so use them occasionally if possible....it can make a horse buck and rear so be careful.

Good luck on finding your spurs and I hope this will help you!

    Happy Trails
