Question about green card forms?

Hi! I am married to an American citizen and am trying to get my green card. I requested some information online and got it sent to our home. I've been told that the forms I need to fill out are I-130, being a petition for alien relative (stating that he is my sponsor), and I-485, an application to register for permanent residence or adjust status. However, after reading the information, my husband think I only need form I-485. Does anyone have any experience with this procces, and could help me out? Thank you.

  1. Your husband who is US Citizen should file I-130 petition you and he must include I-864, G-325A for your I-485. And you file I-485 with I-765, I-131, since the filing fee include all 3 forms.  Also I-693 should be included for your I-485 from the doctor.
