Question:

Question about growing hair out?

my question is about the trimming every 6 weeks, Now my hair grows about an inch every 6 weeks (which is when it gets trimmed) however, as many of you know, when you go to stylists and ask for a trim, they cut off an inch, (so there's no overall hair growth). What can i do about this?

  1. every four months get you're hair trimed

  2. Discuss with the stylist exactly what you want cut before you have your hair washed.

  3. Extend the time between haircuts :)  I believe the time between trims should be 3 months (12 weeks)  Go to the same stylist every time and make sure she/he knows your intention of growing your hair out and only to take off 1/2 inch.  Be specific and make an appointment for the next trim while you are there so you know you will get the same person.

  4. ask your stylist to trim off half an inch, or less.

  5. yeah i know that happens to me too. maybe tell them to not trim it too much or cut it half an inch

  6. You lost me at they cut off an inch, I'll try to answer though, let your hair grow long and then ask to cut it not trim, show them were to cut it to, sorry if that wasn't what you're looking for. =P

  7. Depending on how long your hair is and what style you are going for...you may consider a perm until your hair grows out.  Not a strong perm but, a body perm.

  8. If you're growing your hair out you should ask them to dust off the tips also tell them you're trying to grow your hair out, and they should only cut a half an inch or a quarter of an inch off.

  9. get someone like ur mom to do it.

ask her to do the tiniest bit possible at first. and then go as far as your comftorable.

i never go to the salon just for a trim. its too much for every six weeks anyway.
