why is it so weird for other guys to rate other guys? i've asked this several times to my guy friends but they just tell me that you just can't do it.. and that it's g*y. is g*y the only word in the guy-insult vocab? haha no just kidding....

i mean, girls rate other girls all the time so i dont see the problem.

Well its a known fact that girls look at other girls and compare themselves to them. I have no doubt that guys do this too but won't admit it. My friend does it because he is insecure about himself so he says "look at THAT guy, what a tosser" or whatever....cause he tries to make himself feel better.

Well it's kinda an awkward feeling to rate another guy based on their appearance, clothing etc. It feels kinda "g*y." As you can see above it is widely accepted among us not to rate other boys. =D

By the way what is it with you girls is "guy" the only pronoun that you have in your 'pronoun-vocab'? =P

look saying he looks good is fine ,but for guys to rate other guy means uve gotta consider his features and it does mean like g*y thing, coz guy has to say what he likes abt other guy.

behaviour wise its fine but abt his physical features and deep into looks and all, its a bit difficult to rate.

Because they have insecurities about their own sexuality. Homophobes, Its not manly to do. I've been hit on by guys so much its unbelievable. When I tell other guys, they asked did you hit them. My reply is why at least someone finds me attractive. Now grab my johnson, that is another thing.

I'm very secure in my own sexuality, so don't have this problem. I know who I am. And now most guys are going he's probably a homo. Nope, like the ladies.

There was a movie with Denise Richard, Neve Campbell, Matt Damon and Kevin Bacon. Bacon did full frontal nudity, should see the faces of guys when I say he has a nice { I'll use the word wanker} If it was real, he does.

That and they don't want others to get the perception that they may be g*y or that the other person will think they are g*y, when they're not.

To many worry way to much about what others think of them. If your happy with yourself, that is what really matters.

I've asked women if they thought guys that I percieved as good looking were to them. Its nice to know what the ladies think is good looking to them. Helps to know what the opposite s*x thinks.

If you know who you are, you know who you are. Most guys are so insecure about this that they can't even joke about the subject and always want to beat up g**s.

As I say your so sweet. {with a lisp} facial expressions are priceless.

when guys rate a female its based solely on attractiveness and their willingness to engage in sexual acts with that female or how desirable that female is. If you rate a guy, that means you find them desirable, which is g*y haha, you just cant do it

It's typically hard to do something like that and keep from being looked at in a 'g*y/homosexual' light. It's hard enough to be masculine in this society, thus most guys steer clear of anything that de-masculines them.

You're asking a guy to rate somebody based on their body, they only do that with girls. They get offended that you'd think they judge their friends that way- or that they would keep track of it.

Like a nice girl- a guy will abstain from rating his friends for spectator sport.

Plus it's totally g*y.

I think it's stupid to rate in the first place honestly.

But if I think another man is attractive(from what I hear females like) then I will admit it. (Only if I'm asked of course)

Any guy that doesn't answer those sort of things clearly isn't comfortable with their sexuality and maybe gets turned on by the guys.

A lot of guys seem homophobic, I don't see what the problem is, I rate guys by:

A) Their clothes, and I might say (Those clothes are tight!)

B) His facial hair, or lack of.. (He looks like a grizzly bear/He is as clean as a baby, bleh)

C) The possibility of his girlfriend being with him when I see the guy (He has a good catch, I give him a thumbs up)

D) His body (I need abs like his)

because we associate attractiveness with sexual feelings. so if you ask us to rate another dude, we have to regard him in a sexual way and that is just freaky. :P

We find it g*y, that's correct. Men like to compare each other using quite different terms for example,

"how many chicks you banged last night?"

"I defeated you in squash"

"I can drive a dirt bike"

"I can drive a tractor"

"I can pilot an airplane"

"I have undergone astronaut training"
