Question about hair dye?

I'm going to be dying green highlights in my hair this weekend and was wondering which hair dye is the best to use? I need one that can last at least two weeks

My hair used to be bright burgundy, and I think Special Effects is the best hair dye out there for crazy colors. It lasted SO long. And instead of fading with time I found that the color intensified. Manic Panic is okay but fades quickly.

A good tip is to put a teeny bit of hair dye into your conditioner. That helps it not fade as fast.

Oh, and the color pretty much never stops bleeding in the shower. Do not be alarmed.

I use something called  Creative Image Adore for my blue streaks. It's really easy, lasts a while, and if it fades, easy to touch up. I honestly sometimes don't even bother washing it out, so it's as simple as getting your hair wet and rubbing it in.

It was also pretty cheap, I think I paid about 3.50 for it. I got it in a beauty supply store in the Palisades mall (NY) but I'm sure it's many places.
