Question about having a birthday party???

I'm 13 turning 14, and I want to have an awesome birthday party. I'm moving in with my mom, and this will be a party at my dad's with all of my friends from there. We were thinking (me and my closest friends) about having a red carpet/ Hollywood themed party, but I don't know what we could do for that other than making or watching movies. And that's kinda boring. I want to have something awesome, and it would be a sleepover with like 8 other girls maybe?? HELP?!?

Hollywood is all about glamor what's more glamorous then beauty makeovers?

oohhh. maybe you could get a photographer.

or set you house up.  

and you guys could take photos.

buy a long red carpet and those velvet ropes and as someone else said get a photographers and dressup in flashy and sequined dresses and jewlery, do makeovers and sorta for the sleepover part have a spa night! For the spa night you could buy some Mud Masks and Have each girl wear them and while the masks harden you can paint nails and give pedicures, Do hair with lots of ribbons and bows. Before the party you should make spa strawberries, first wash some fresh berries nd spread some wax paper on a tray and melt chocolate in the microwave or stove and dip have of each, before you could make Pastry shells and fill them with your choice of soft creamy filling and serve them to the girls while they are being beautied.

That's cool! You could try dressing up as different celebrities-acting like they do. (ex: paris hilton, britney spears, nicole richie, etc.) Just do makeovers and look fabulous. Then go outside with a red carpet, lay it out on the sidewalk and strut up and down that. You would probably confuse a lot of people. (Personally, i like confusing ppl. lolz) You could also video tape some stuff, its up to you what you want to videotape. Those are just some of my ideas.

If you decide to do that theme then maybe you guys can get all dressed up and do each others make up, nails and hair. Then you can have your dad take you girls downtown to hang out and eat pizza at a lil pizza restaurant. That sounds like fun, something that I would have done at your age.
