Question about homecoming?

im a 14 yr old guy going to freshman homecoming next week and im just wondering do most people take a date to the dance. is it really uncommon to go w/ a group of friends, just need some perspective thanks

going with a group of friends is really common!

Most go with friends.  It's the best thing, you don't have to stand there and entertain your date all night while your friends are having a blast.

i don't like to bring a date to homecoming because your like stuck witht them the whole night.

ive never been to onee, but i dont think it matters, my eightgrade dance was just mixed in with everybodyy so i dont think it will be too differntt,
