(and the 128 was including taxes etc.) and im only 19 (but im going to canada) does that matter??

  1. when checking in they'll ask you for an ID and a credit card, it would be charged when checking out. Usually you have to add taxes to the prices 'but if the taxes are include it's good). Your total should be 128 if you don't make phone calls or use any of the services hotels charge for.You must be at least 18 to check in .

  2. prolly just $128 total but u may want to call and double-check beforehand

  3. $128 will cover your room, they may add more taxes, however. Also, if you get room service or make long-distance calls you will also be charged for them.

  4. First concern is going to be the exchange rate.  Second concern, make sure your reservation states that the $128.00 is with taxes included, because normally, they quote you a rate BEFORE taxes and there is usually a city tax and an occupancy tax and if this is in Canada, I think that would be about it.  Since you are 19, if you are going to Canada, it doesn't matter as 19 is even a legal drinking age in Canada, but if this is in the US, some states have laws prohibiting the renting of rooms to those under 21 (mostly because minors tend to rent rooms to drink in and parties are frowned upon).  If you are not sure about the price including tax, call the hotel back and confirm with them the TOTAL price for your stay.  You can always pay cash or use a different credit card upon arrival.  The card they have is used only if you do not cancel the reservation and do not show up on the designated day to check in, then it is usually the procedure of the hotel to charge one nights room and tax for a room they could have rented, but held for you and you didn't show.

    Hope this helps.
