Question about how many countries there are?????????!!!!!!!?

I have a world country test tomorrow... (i have to memorize 163 countries) and apparently there are 193... I have memorized Africa, Europe, Asia, Middle East, South America, and Central America.. and probably 5 islands off their coasts... the total adds up to 154!!! I was wondering where can i find the other 39 countries (islands or whatnot)
