Question about iPhone 3G?

Okay so how to I transfer my songs from my computer to my iPhone? I don't have iTunes. I have Mp3 thingys and my music is not on a iTunes site. Can I still transfer them if there not on itunes to play on my iPhone? Or no... Please anwser thanks! And I am getting a iTunes account but I dont have a ipod I just need it for the app store on my iphone and I am not going to have music on my iTunes account on my computer...

the iPhone is an apple product and to load songs onto it, you need another apple application such as iTunes. you will have to put all your mp3s onto iTunes when you get your account and then load everything.
