Question about iPhone video formatting/uploading?

Question

I am attempting to upload a video file onto my iPhone. I am aware that the iPhone is only compatable with mp4 files and have used my video encoder application to convert the file to mp4 format and have loaded the file to iTunes, however when I try to drag and drop the file

onto my iPhone, the option is not available. Help please?

P.S. The converted file is the right resolution needed on the iPhone as well.

MP4 files may have several type. The one that iPhone supports should be one of these.

Try some video converter tools supporting conversion between video and iphone formats.

May be there is some things wrong in the encoder, the iphone support mpeg4 and H.264 video

Does the video can play on the iTunes? And the bit rate and frame rate should be compatible with the range that iPhone could carry.
