Okay, say you have identical twin boys - we'll call then Nate and Nick

Then you have identical twins girls, we'll call them Jennifer and Jessica.

Say Nate marries Jennifer

Nick marries Jessica.

Both couples have a daughter - we'll name them Kelly and Melissa, who would be cousins

Would Kelly and Jessica look identical or very close to one another?

  1. I assume you don;t mean that twins A and twins B are all sibling who are intermarrying, rather that two sets of twins from two separate parents meet and marry.

But yes, the chances of the babies looking similar are high, however they would not look identical.

  2. wow good question thed probly look wierd from inbreeding

  3. They could like almost identical, similar or look nothing alike at all. When your dealing with genetics, even in cases of identical twin couples, you can't tell what genes are going to be expressed and which are not, though they would both have the same gene pools on which they are drawing. Even identical twins, sometimes don't look identical.

  4. one child may resemble the mother's traits while the other the father's traits. I don't think the kids who come out looking identical because they are not. I guess they could look similar (like siblings).

  5. You have 2 sets of twins and they intermarry? That's not legal and poor Kelly and Melissa would have webbed feet.

  6. wow that would be neat to see!

  7. they'd probably look mutated. see the consequences of inbreeding.

  8. ooooo VERY good question..... :)
