Question about international universities?

As a high school student, would I be able to take college level classes at a Community College or a University? I know a small handful of kids who have done in through a CC but no that have gone through a university or college. I live in New Jersey and there is a local university but it is only well know in this region of NJ, the second closest would be Princeton which is a good 30 minutes away, however I have a car and can drive. I assume I would take this classes at night? Would Princeton even offer this? I am more worried that the schools I will be applying to will not accept dual enrollment.

  1. Hey,

Your initial question and description do not coincide with one another. If your looking to take college classes while in highschool, that really doesn't happen. I'm from NJ so I am familiar with the universities around and I'm sure Princeton will not offer classes to students who are not enrolled full-time as it is an Ivy-League institution.

If your looking to attend college you obviously have to take the SATs, fill out applications, letters of rec., applciation fees, essays etc.  If your looking to transfer credits to an international university, then you're out of luck. International universities have different grading systems from the US. Again, you question and description makes it difficult to understand your question and thus answer.
