who ever gets to the intersection first, goes first?

  1. If you get to the intersection before any other cars, you have the right of way. If two or three cars arrive at the same time, the vehicle on the farthest right has the right of way.

    The driver of a vehicle within an intersection intending to turn to the left shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle approaching from the opposite direction which is within the intersection or so close thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard.

  4. Not exactly.  When you both arrive "at the same time" at the intersection, then the car to the RIGHT has the "right of way" to go first.
