if f(x) = {(1,7),(5,8),(2,6)}

to find the inverse of f(x), would you just switch all the x and y coordinates?

  1. yes. yes you do. above answer is correct, but not feasible for this problem


  2. No, you need to find an equation for that function. Then you switch the x and y, and solve for y.  

  3. You need to plot the points and draw the function. Inverse the x and y form the function that you derived. You just have "raw" data.
